Initiative Challenge

Working in teams students had to escape an erupting volcano by crossing a lava field.  

Students had a range of 'heat resistant' equipment ( little bit of imagination required) to help them to get to safety.

There was some fantastic team work as well as some interesting solo crossings.  Ideas and plans were constantly changing with plenty of robust discussions in each team.  We finished with each team appraising their attempt, identifying what worked well and what changes needed to happen next time.
